Llanegryn Church has been at the heart of its community for well over a thousand years. It is much loved, not only as a place of worship but also as an important historic building, a cultural centre, a community focus and a place for quiet contemplation.

The church is still active and services take place most Sunday mornings. The churchyard is still used as the cemetery for the parish and it is a beautiful setting for the weddings that take place there.

It is also an attraction for visitors to the area who come to admire the medieval church, its ancient screen, rood loft and font in its glorious rural setting with the mountains in the background and vistas across the Dyssyni Valley to Cardigan Bay.

There is a special atmosphere in the church, an atmosphere of peace and stillness and a feeling of a continuous link back to the generations from Llanegryn who have worshiped there continuously for around 1,400 years.
